When injury occurs...

There are thousands of foot ailments and for unknown reasons, many people believe that it is normal for their feet to hurt, and simply resign themselves to enduring foot problems that could be treated.

At the Freel Foot & Ankle Clinic we care for people of all ages with any foot problem. Common disorders include bunions, heel pain, hammertoes, ingrown toenails, warts, corns and calluses. As a podiatric physician, Dr. Freel renders care of sprains, fractures, infections or injuries of the foot, ankle, or heel.

Dr. Freel began serving the Quincy area in 1986 and is the highest credentialed podiatric physician in the Quincy/Hannibal area and surrounding region. As a teaching physician, Dr. Freel provides lectures to the general public as well as physicians.

The Freel Foot & Ankle Clinic expanded to its present facility in January of 1999. State of the art procedures in ultrasonic, vascular, neurological and diabetic testing, gait analysis, physical and rehabilitative services, as well as complete evaluation and management of disorders related to the foot and ankle are provided. Dr. Freel fabricates custom orthotic shoe inserts in-house. Leaving no room for error, each patient's shoe insert is molded by hand.

Fortunately, the foot and ankle are well designed to handle stress and to support us for a lifetime. But certain conditions, if left undetected and untreated, can seriously sideline even the most fit individual. With proper detection, intervention and care, most foot and ankle problems can be lessened and prevented.

At Freel Foot & Ankle Clinic, we'll get you back on your feet again.
